Conly ALA President Jeff Conly of Vitesse WorldwideScottsdale, Ariz. — The Arizona Limousine Association (ALA) is gearing up for its two-day Summer Educational Summit, which will be held June 20-21 at the Talking Stick Resort.

Attendees will be treated to an array of topics that ALA President Jeff Conly of Vitesse Worldwide said aims to cover the myriad educational content members have asked for, with presentations promising insights into the industry overall, vendors’ services, the pros and cons of leasing versus renting fleet vehicles, business growth, and more—including closing out the first day with Matthew Contorelli, the governor’s vice president of public affairs.

“Hopefully, this encompasses everything that members want—I think it’s a good, well-rounded presentation,” Conly said. “Our roster of speakers has exceeded our expectations: We didn’t think we’d be this lucky! The board has been trying to get the governor of Arizona to come and speak but we always get his people—though Matthew Contorelli apparently has a lot to do with transportation.”

Chauffeur Driven Publisher Chris Weiss will be speaking on the second day with NLA President Gary Buffo, as well as raffling off a pass to the 2019 CD Show in Boston.

“I’m really excited about this and how everyone’s really stepped up to make this kind of event happen,” said Conly, adding that the support of sponsors like Grech, Amerifuel, Lancer, and Chauffeur Driven helped make the event possible and defray admission costs.

Conly added that feedback from within the ALA has been beyond positive, especilaly from former ALA President Jason Kaplan of The Driver Provider.

"This is probably one of the best meetings I’ve seen from the ALA in close to 15 years," Kaplan wrote when RSVPing for the event.

The cost to attend is $50, which includes lunch, for two days of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. education. Reserve your spot by contacting Conly by calling 602.350.5174 or emailing jconlyazlimoassociation@gmail.com.
