The American Bus Association (ABA) recently announced the launch of the Driving Force Council, which is focused on helping members address one of the industry’s biggest challenges: building and sustaining a strong workforce. Backed by sponsor MCI and built on the initiative championed by ABA’s Women in Buses Committee, Driving Force is now a central part of the association’s long-term strategy to support operators of all sizes across the motorcoach and group travel industry, according to the press release.
ABA Board Member Erin Sullivan of Bloom Tour & Charter Services
Leading the Council is Erin Sullivan of Bloom Tour & Charter Services, with ABA’s SVP of Meetings, Events, and Education Vicki Osman serving as the staff lead. Additionally, several subcommittees will tackle key topics like recruitment, onboarding & retention, executive leadership, marketing & communications, and DEI & culture.
