For the third successive year, the Chauffeured Transportation Association of New Jersey (CTANJ) is holding a Toys for Tots collection at their upcoming holiday party. Guests are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to the gathering, which is scheduled for December 9 at The Highlawn in West Orange.
“Once again, this year, we are continuing the great tradition of collecting new unwrapped toys for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program,” says CTANJ President Mike Rose of My Limousine Service. “Our Treasurer Barry Trabb of Complete Fleet Livery Sales brought this idea to us several years ago and we have continued this tradition as part of our annual holiday celebration and the donations have been amazing! This is a fantastic cause, and our association and members step up each year to support this great program. We are hoping this year will be our largest collection to date!”
The mission of the Toys for Tots Program, which is organized by the US Marine Corps Reserve, is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute them to economically disadvantaged children during the December holidays.
The CTANJ Holiday Mixer is one of the association’s most anticipated events. Not only does it give members the opportunity to connect and share holiday merriment, but it also attracts operators from other regions and markets. The event venue, The Highlawn, is host to iconic panoramic views of the New York City skyline, and it is well known for its exceptional food and service.
