FORE… no, make that three! A trio of regional industry associations are planning upcoming golf tournament fundraisers this summer and fall.
First, the New England Livery Association (NELA) has scheduled their annual golf tournament on August 26 as New England Country Club in Bellingham, Mass. Members and guests are invited to take part in a full day of golfing, lunch, dinner, and desert. NELA has fun (and friendly competition) planned, including a GTS Golf Cannon, which lets you send your ball 400 yards… without the use of a driver! Plus, for 2025, the association is offering fun prizes during their annual putting contest. You hit it, you win it! Are you a novice? Well, have no fear because all are welcome.

Next up, on September 15, the Chauffeured Transportation Association of New Jersey (CTANJ) will host their annual outing at the Basking Ridge Country Club in Bernards Township. A full day, beginning with registration and lunch, followed by a shotgun start for 18 holes of golf and concluding with cocktails, dinner and awards, is planned, along with lots of extras such as a four-person scramble, a putting contest, and a silent auction.

CTANJ is currently seeking a wide array of sponsors for the event, which range from Platinum ($5,000 - With two foursomes, signage at event entry, three designated holes, special recognition at dinner, and repeated online name promotion from commitment date) to Tee Sponsor ($200 - With name on tee sign at designated hole, recognition at dinner, and repeated online name promotion from commitment date).

Lastly, the recently re-branded Georgia Luxury Transportation Association (GLTA) announced their Georgia Golf Classic on November 11 at Bear’s Best Golf Resort in Suwanee. While details are forthcoming, the event will serve as a benefit for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
