The Third Annual NELA Topgolf Networking Event attracted 40 members and guests
In what’s been a busy month for the New England Livery Association (NELA), the association held its third annual Fall Networking event at Topgolf in Canton, Mass., on September 15. This event, of course, followed NELA’s successful golf tournament, which occurred on August 31. Forty members and guests attended the dinner event, which was sponsored by RMA Worldwide and T-Mobile.

Whereas NELA’s general membership meetings focus largely on education, the Topgolf event was solely devoted to networking and fun. However, NELA President Brett Barenholtz of Above All/Maine Limousine did deliver a few remarks to the group, including thanking board members for their hard work following the success of the golf tournament. As president of the National Limousine Association (NLA) as well, he provided updates on the national front, notably the NLA’s recent representation at the GBTA convention and the upcoming CD/NLA Show in National Harbor. Barenholtz highlighted the importance and appreciation of NELA members in their support of the NLA, including PAC, Day on the Hill, and other political events and fundraising activities whether national or local to New England. He also took the opportunity to announce that the next NELA quarterly meeting/holiday party will be held December 2 at Andover Country Club.

Following a buffet dinner, members were encouraged to take a turn swinging their clubs in one of the golf bays secured by NELA. As is tradition with the association, a raffle was held for various prizes. NELA Board Member Pat Enxing of Pat’s Car Service was the lucky winner of a sports tailgating package (donated by Board Member & Events Committee Chair Alicia Hayes of American Classic Limousine) and a Topgolf gift card, while Anthony Russo of A Plus Coach won the $200 worth of scratch tickets and the 50/50.
