
Time is running out to submit your nomination for the National Limousine Association’s (NLA) upcoming Board election, with five seats in the running. Noms are due by October 7 at 5:00 p.m. ET.
Open NLA Board seats for the 2026-2029 term:
At Large: one seat (any state)
Central Region: one seat (AR, IA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, OK, SD, TX, WI)
Northeast Region: one seat (CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT)
Southeast Region: one seat (AL, DE, DC, FL, GA, KY, MD, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, WV)
West Region: one seat (AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, UT, WA, WY)

In other news, the association has also announced the addition of Lauren Turner as marketing and communications manager. According to the announcement, her primary responsibilities will be crafting and deploying emails, managing the NLA’s social media accounts, supporting event, webinar and livestream promotion, elevating NLARide and limo.org content, developing images, banners, and graphics, and partnering with staff and committees to amplify member value.

Finally, the association issued a guide sheet to members regarding the new “no tax on tips” in the recently passed One Big Beautiful Bil Act in July. The information was provided by NLA’s partner, Cornerstone Government Affairs, and was distributed via email this week.
