Drvn, the global technology and chauffeur service company based in Coral Gables, Fla., recently announced it has ceased operations in Russia in support of, and in solidarity with, Ukraine. Hundreds of companies worldwide have either severely limited or withdrawn entirely from working with Russia, including GM, Expedia, and Apple, due to the ongoing invasion.

“We have been operating in Russia for nine years, focusing on corporate, executive, and leisure travel in St. Petersburg and Moscow,” said drvn CEO Mario Medina. “We are appalled by the attacks on Ukraine and deeply concerned about the safety of our chauffeurs, our clientele, and their families in the affected areas. As such, we stopped operations in Russia on February 25.”
As an added act of solidarity, drvn is donating a penny per mile for all drvn trips worldwide to a Ukrainian relief effort spearheaded by the National Bank of Ukraine. The relief effort provides funding to the country’s Armed Forces and the Ministry of Social Policy. To date, hundreds of millions have been raised to provide food and shelter for refugees and citizens, including clothing, shoes, medicine, staple goods for the population, financial aid, and more.

Chris Przybylski and Joe Guinn of LBC Fleet and Robyn Goldenberg of Strategy Leaders have announced a partnership to launch a remote staffing agency, Find Staff. The goal of this venture is to provide easy access to remote international staff during a time most businesses are struggling to hire and find talent.

“We’ve used remote employees for years,” says Przybylski. “For our model, having an office just never made sense. Over the years we’ve had staff all around the world. It’s really allowed us to stay competitive while recruiting top talent."

“We have been employing remote team members for years, and saw a huge uptick in the need for remote workers for small businesses during the height of the pandemic,” says Goldenberg. “The decision to close our physical office really opened our eyes to the talent available both nationally and internationally. We have staff members across the United States, and the world. They have been a huge asset to our growth and development.”

Find Staff crafts job ads in international markets based upon your specific needs. Common remote positions include dispatch, reservations, customer service, and other administrative work. Once suitable candidates are found, the company schedules interviews with your team to determine the best fit. Upon hiring, they also handle the proper international on-boarding paperwork, payroll, taxes, and benefits to ensure compliance with not only US regulations but international regulations as well. Once the employee joins the company, Find Staff provides them with the necessary equipment to become a part of your team.
Pricing varies based on a wide variety of factors, such as the country of origin and the experience of the candidate, but in general most administrative employees cost $10/hour all-inclusive.
Find Staff says their core mission is PEOPLE FIRST. This mentality means they look to pay more, bill less, and support workers more than the typical agency.
