Garkani GCLA President Mo Garkani of The COTS Group San Diego, Calif. — The Greater California Livery Association (GCLA) has been taking its meetings on the road to best reach its far-flung membership base. Its most recent circuit up and down The Golden State started April 10 in Los Angeles and is slated to touch down in San Diego May 8—right in time to coincide with the Chauffeur Driven Executive Retreat.

The meetings offer attendees the opportunity to network with their fellow operators, share ideas, and learnabout the state of California’s ground transportation industry.

Having nearly 200 operators and vendors from all over the world gathered in one place gives the California association a rare opportunity to reach national and international peers and affiliates alike with firsthand information about what’s happening in the state and where its operators’ priorities lie.

GCLA The San Diego meeting is the final stop on this batch of events and, like its predecessors, will include a 10-minute GCLA update, group introductions, roundtable discussions, structured networking, and small-group break-out discussions. GCLA members and non-member retreat attendees alike are invited to attend.

GCLA’s May 8 meeting will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at The Pendry’s second-level Grand Ballroom 4.

The association will kick off its next cycle of statewide meetings July 31 in Los Angeles.
