Industry veteran Umut Aslan—former CMO for MIB Transportation and founder of Growth and Success Institute (GSI), a consulting firm to help the chauffeured transportation companies face challenges and take advantage of opportunities—has launched a survey to assess the impact of self-driving vehicles on the industry.

The brief survey (available here) digs into industry attitudes surrounding the development of this technology and how it will affect chauffeured transportation as it stands today. With Waymo already operating in several cities across the nation, Uber penning deals with Lucid and Nuro, and Tesla obtaining a permit in Arizona to test its self-driving vehicles, the shift could be drastic in the coming years. Uber was a major disruption when it came to market more than a decade ago, although its biggest blow was to taxis, so will autonomous vehicles be the next disruptor? Anyone in the industry is invited to weigh in.
During his years with MIB Transportation, Aslan gained extensive knowledge and experience in chauffeured transportation, which he aims to share with his GSI clients. These services include business consulting, strategy planning, outsourced CMO, executive coaching, and peer groups/20 groups facilitation. Aslan will be on hand at the CD/NLA Show in Dallas this October 25-28.
