Meeting speaker Joseph Lordan of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith Meeting speaker and GCLA Director Patrick O’Brien of O'Brien Law Hayward, Calif. — Fresh off a banner year, the Greater California Livery Association (GCLA) will be hosting its first meeting of 2020 tonight, January 28, to keep the momentum going—and it’s not too late to join them in the San Francisco region for a night of education and networking.

The northern California MCI Sales and Service Center will host the evening’s meeting, where there will be new vehicles on display and topics of discussion will include the best ways of taking care of your staff and your business.

Running from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m., the meeting features a packed agenda:

• 5:00-6:00 p.m.: Registration and networking
• 6:00-6:30 p.m.: Tour of MCI facility
• 6:30 p.m.: Dinner begins
• 6:45 p.m.: GCLA President’s opening remarks
• 7:00-8:30 p.m.: Labor Seminar

Tonight’s GCLA meeting will be hosted at the MCI Sales and Service Center The seminar will explore topics such as wages and hours, meals and rest breaks, employer/driver compliance, gratuity, and AB5 and workers’ compensation. Speakers will be Joseph Lordan of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith and GCLA Director Patrick O’Brien of O'Brien Law.

Tickets are $60 for GCLA members and $70 for non-members, and will be available at the door.

The next GCLA event will be its March 11 Day on the Hill in Sacramento.
