Boca Raton, Fla. — A1A Airport & Limousine Service continues its annual tradition, now in its fifth year, of honoring teachers. The promotion, which offers a 50 percent discount on transportation to and from any South Florida airport during the month of September, has been featured by local media outlets and has been a big hit, according to CEO Rick Versace. During other times of the year, the company offers a 10 percent discount to educators.
“A1A Airport & Limousine Service is grateful for the fabulous men and women of our community who devote their lives to educating and molding the character of our young ones,” Versace says. “I attended public school in New York City from kindergarten through college. The teachers I had made a profound impact on my life, and this has developed in me a deep respect for the work that they do. I know that this generation of teachers is just as dedicated. We hope our program will show our teachers just how much we appreciate them and their efforts.”
In fact, Versace’s appreciation for educators is so strong that he sports specialty “Support Education” plates on his fleet vehicles.
Versace says that the company promotes the discount through social media as well, and that the campaign’s response has been excellent.
