“I am honored to receive this award from the police department,” said Haley, a former police officer in Starkville, Mississippi. “As the city of Nashville sees continued growth, Metro Police do an outstanding job keeping our communities safe and improving the quality of life for our fellow citizens. Together, it is integral for the city and the community to continue to support the department’s efforts.”
MNPD presented Haley with the award in recognition of his outstanding support and contributions to the advancement of the police department. Since 2012, Grand Avenue has donated $1 per every reservation made with the company to the Nashville Police Support Fund, which provides higher education opportunities and other advanced training programs for MNPD officers.
Haley is actively involved in the Nashville community, supporting organizations in the arts and education including Boy Scouts of America, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art, Tennessee Performing Arts Center, and the Nashville Symphony, among others.
