Miami Keynote Speaker Terry Jones
Miami Beach, Fla. —With a nearly finalized agenda and floor space filling up quickly, it’s not too early to start thinking about Chauffeur Driven’s Trade Show & Conference at the beautiful Loews Miami Beach Hotel. We’re taking our annual event on the road this October 11-14 for its first-ever stop on what will become a rotating roster of premium host destinations. The Lincoln Motor Company and Grech Motors have already signed up to be the Title Sponsors for our first Florida trade show—and we’re kicking it off with another industry first of reserving more than 95 percent of the hotel’s space for a true property takeover.
We’re excited to announce that our keynote speaker will be entrepreneur and accomplished speaker Terry Jones—with many thanks to our Keynote Sponsors, Grech Motors and Mosaic Global Transportation. As the current executive chairman of Wayblazer, founder and former CEO of Travelocity, founding chairman of Kayak, and former vice president of business travel company Travel Advisors, Jones has been deeply entrenched in the travel industry since starting out as a travel agent in 1971. Jones also currently serves as the managing principal of ON, a consulting service he founded to aid companies in their transitions to the digital economy.
Jones brings those decades of experience to his speaking engagements, which are designed to challenge an audience into examining the future of their companies in new and innovative ways. He also brings his experience with disruptive, industry-changing technologies to our keynote speech. As Kayak, Travelocity, and other instant-booking sites have changed the landscape of the travel industry, Jones can offer a unique understanding of what it’s like when new companies burst onto the scene, providing insight into how a post-TNC ground transportation industry can forge ahead while adapting to changing times.

General Manager Bill Cunningham
Acton, Mass. — Acton Fleet Sales and SoCal Penske have formed a new partnership with two BMW dealerships on the East and West Coasts. The bicoastal sales team is now working with BMW of Peabody in Mass., and McKenna BMW of California. Customers will have access to one of the most popular high-end livery sedans: the BMW 740Li.
According to Acton Vice President and General Manager Bill Cunningham, “Our plan is that BMW of Peabody will supply the East Coast and McKenna the West. Each store will carry inventory that suits the needs of their location, for example, the xDrive (all wheel drive) models in the Northeast. Both of these dealerships have an outstanding reputation for taking care of the customer.”
Acton Fleet Sales and SoCal Penske sell most of the industry’s leading brands, including Cadillac, Lincoln, and Chrysler sedans and SUVs. The locations also offer the new Ford Transit and Dodge RAM ProMaster, as well as Chevrolet Suburbans,
“We are very excited about this new product offering and the high level of quality the BMW brand brings to our offerings,” says Cunningham. “At present, we have over 30 Livery sedans in stock and available for immediate delivery. Unlike many of our competitors, we stock the cars which eliminates the need to wait weeks for the client to take delivery.”
