Allied Specialty Vehicles Appoints Marcus Berto as Chief Commercial Officer

The new Allied Specialty Vehicles Chief Commercial Officer Marcus BertoOrlando, Fla. — Allied Specialty Vehicles, Inc. (ASV), a leading manufacturer of motor vehicles for commercial, fire and emergency, and recreation markets, announced that Marcus Berto has been appointed chief commercial officer for all product lines worldwide. Berto will be based in the company’s corporate headquarters in Orlando and work directly with each business unit president and head of sales to solidify various pricing strategies in domestic and international markets.

Berto arrives from Prumo Global Logistics SA in Brazil, where he served as chief executive officer and member of the company’s executive board. Berto also previously served as a principal with LMB Consulting, providing financial and M&A advice to companies in Brazil. Prior to these engagements, Berto held various leadership positions at Bucyrus International, Inc., including senior vice president of corporate development and the southern hemisphere, and managing director of Bucyrus Brazil, Ltd. Before joining Bucyrus, Berto served as CFO and vice president of corporate development of a Canadian gold mining company that he helped take public on the New York Stock Exchange. Berto worked for more than 10 years for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen.
