Woo-hoo! The CD/NLA Show makes its long-awaited return to Las Vegas on March 27-30 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. In the two years since our last Vegas event, excitement within the industry has understandably reached a fever pitch. Chauffeur Driven and the National Limousine Association have worked together to bring you an unforgettable four days of world-class education, networking opportunities, and fun.

While we put the finishing touches on our educational programming and finalize our speaker lineup, we’re thrilled to announce two of our always popular after-hours events.

First, to kick things off, we’re bringing you the greatest show on…the CD/NLA Show floor? That’s right, ladies and gents, it’s all happening on Sunday night as we kick off with our Opening Night Show Floor Soiree. Our live entertainers will regale you with their feats of gravity-defying ball and stilt walking, while magicians will mystify you with their sleight of hand, and tarot card readers will reveal the secrets your future holds. Be sure to stop by and meet Marilyn and Elvis, get your portrait drawn by a caricaturist, and, of course, take a few snaps in our photo booths. Moreover, we’ll have passed appetizers and an open bar for the length of the party. It’ll be business as usual the next day on the show floor, but the real fun starts with this exclusive—and fun—preview event.

Next, for our Monday night party, we’re giving you the chance to relive the rad ’80s. Back by popular demand, is our Totally Awesome ’80s Party. So, whether you’re channeling your inner Maverick, totally copying Ferris Bueller, getting nasty like Ms. Jackson, or sporting kicks Straight Outta Compton, our party will give you the chance to hop in a virtual time machine for a visit back to the fast times of the decade of decadence. The DJ’ed music and quick bites—not to mention our endless drinks—will transport you to a time when big hair and pagers ruled and “zoom” wasn’t the dreaded virtual meeting platform. Bring your neon duds, Miami Vice blazer, old concert shirts, Wayfarer shades, or any other accessory that screams 1980s, because, no duh, the Totally Awesome ’80s Party is one you won’t want to skip.
If you haven’t booked your stay at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, now is the time. Our exclusive room block, with a fantastic rate of $159/night, is filling up quickly. Don’t miss out as once the block is filled, this rate is gone. Click here to book today.

The National Limousine Association’s annual in-person advocacy event, Day on the Hill, is returning to Washington, D.C., this May 11-12. NLA President Robert Alexander of RMA Worldwide made the announcement in his weekly letter to association members last week.
“Advocacy is an integral part of the NLA's mission,” wrote Alexander in his letter. “This event gives the Association and its members the opportunity to get in front of their legislators about issues facing our industry. It is vital to have as many members as possible attend Day on the Hill. The more members we bring, the stronger our collective voice is.”
Events on May 11 include educational sessions as well as the NLA Board & PAC Fundraiser Dinner; meetings with Congressional representatives will commence after breakfast on May 12. A Day on the Hill Dinner will close the event that evening.
Registration for the event will be available in the coming weeks. Alexander encouraged those wishing to secure their accommodations to book soon, and discount codes are available for three area hotels on the NLA’s website.
If you are interested in supporting Day on the Hill as a sponsor, reach out to Kyle Hammerschmidt at kyleh@limo.org for more information.
In other news, the deadline for the NLA Scholarship Program to help operators attend the CD/NLA Show in Las Vegas this March 27-30 is quickly approaching. All applications must be received by February 10, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. ET. Click here for more details and a link to apply.
